A new take on the Guardian Angel, the customer is into his surfing but wanted the classic Louis Malloy design done slightly differently, we came up with this version, you can see more of my color work in the gallery.

The client bought her own artwork for this leaping lion tattoo on the thigh.

More Cherubs, a good example of healed work next to fresh ink. This picture was taken from a funny angle the placement is the inside of the bicep. I still have a load of updates for the website, I am trying to work through them daily so keep checking back to see new tattoos, you can also see many more examples of this type of work in my black and grey gallery.

A healed Cherub tattoo, the picture has been taken at a funny angle as this was done on the inside of the bicep. I am slowly uploading more images to the healed gallery, I have lots of updates to do so keep checking back.

A star on the chest. This tattoo makes the site simply because it was so much fun to do, a regular client asked me to do this even though he knows that I cringe at the very mention of a star. There was a fair bit of enjoyable banter going back and forth!

This pin-up style Angel was a lot of fun to do, I really enjoy doing pin up style work in black and grey so if anyone has a cool idea then get in contact with me at the Middleton Tattoo Studio.

I often get asked by clients (and some are quite concerned!) as to why my fresh black and grey work is so dark? The simple answer is that the work will fade, initially by about 20% and then over the years further still. The Guardian Angel above will still look good in years to come rather than just becoming an outline.
